Cloakroom Basins

There is no set size for a cloakroom basin. On our cloakroom basin pages you’ll generally find sizes between 300mm and 700mm wide.

Some of our smallest basins are under 400mm wide. These are ideal for anyone who wants to create an ensuite or downstairs toilet but has very limited space.

Although they are called cloakroom basins, they can be installed in any bathroom in your home, including your en-suite bathroom. However, it’s important to consider whether the basin will be large enough for shaving and other things you might use an en-suite for.

When installing your basin you’ll not only need to mount your basin onto the wall and connect the waste supply, you’ll also need to fit your taps and connect the water supply for those. As a result, we recommend calling a plumber to install your sink.
