Q: How do I know which design service is right for me?

It all depends on what you need... We actually created The Snapshot as a new 'lighter touch' design service for our customers and it often fits the bill if you don't foresee lots of changes and would like a well-considered & technically sound design/plan to work from, but don't need to see extra details like tiling, wallpaper, plants etc that can bring the space to life visually. The Big Picture offers exactly that, a beautiful photorealistic vision of your space, and whilst we don't sell tiles or wallpaper or plants or pictures (not yet anyway!), we know that it's the sum of all of these design details that make a house a home and for many, they want help to imagine and visualise what their new bathroom could look like. It's important to note here that because we don't sell products like tiles and wallpaper, our designers are NOT able to provide advice or recommend any floor or wall coverings but will try their best to replicate what you'd like visually. If you choose The Big Picture it's ideal to bring along any ideas or links to these elements.

Q: Can I share my wishlist of products or design ideas in advance?

Yes, we love that! Pinterest boards are our happy place and adding your favourite products to a wishlist on Drench is very helpful to kick start the design process. If you have done any research or planning so far, you'll have the chance to share it with your designer.

Q: Can you work with my installer/architect/interior designer?

Absolutely, we can work in whichever way suits you - whether that is directly with your installer/architect/interior designer or collaborating with you and them on a call together. Just let us know.

Q: Can you help source products not on the Drench website?

We can often source products not on our website through our network of suppliers so if you can't see what you'd ideally like, just ask and we'll see what we can do!

Q: Can you also answer technical questions about the products and/or plumbing etc?

Yes our designers are very knowledgeable about the technical aspects of our products and their plumbing/installation requirements.

Q: I just have a few questions and I'm not sure I need a design - can you help?

We sure can. You might prefer to book a free consultation call with us instead.

If you just need a clear and simple design for you and your installer to work from, we offer The Snapshot. For a more finished design complete with tiles or other finishing touches, you can go for The Big Picture, allowing for multiple amends and photorealistic 3D renders.

How it Works

Step 1

Choose your design service and book a call
Select the design service that best suits your needs and book a consultation at a time that works for you.

Step 2

Send us your room measurements
Once your appointment is confirmed, your designer will email you to request your room dimensions. Important: We need your measurements before the scheduled call to begin working on your design.

Step 3

Design Consultation Call
At your scheduled day and time, your designer will call you to discuss your project and take a detailed design brief based on your style, preferences, and practical needs.

Step 4

Receive Your First Design
Depending on the service you selected, we’ll send you either:

• A Snapshot Design (a quick visual layout), or

• A Big Picture Design (complete images and first drafts)

You’ll then have the opportunity to provide feedback for any changes.

Step 5

Final Designs & Product Sourcing
Once your design is finalised, you’ll receive your final visuals — including full 3D renders for Big Picture Designs. Your designer will then assist you in sourcing all the necessary products to bring your new bathroom to life.

Design files delivered within 1-2 working days
Option to upgrade to The Big Picture with enhanced 3D design if preferred (includes up to 3 rounds of amends).

Refundable with £1000 minimum spend

Comprehensive and creative — get a fully visualised bathroom, including tiles and styling, plus support sourcing the right products.

Multiple rooms discounted: 2 rooms £150, 3 rooms £200

You'll receive:

Full design consultation with tailored product advice
Technical review of all selected products
Detailed 3D renders including wall/floor coverings and tile design (please see FAQs for a full list of what's included)
Dimensional plans showing layout and measurements
Initial designs delivered within 2–3 working days
Up to 3 rounds of revisions to layouts or products
Optional online video consultation to talk through design and discussion of any questions or amendments.

Samantha Lawson

Sam has been designing bathrooms since 2012, bringing over 13 years of industry-focused experience to every project. With a strong background in showroom design, she’s worked across everything from trade-only suppliers to high-end retailers, giving her a deep understanding of layout, product selection, and real-world practicality. Sam’s approach balances aesthetics with usability — creating spaces that not only look great but work beautifully day to day.

While she keeps up with design inspiration through platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, and industry exhibitions, she believes the best bathrooms are tailored to the individual, not just current trends.

Chloë Dicks

Chloë originally trained in construction, studying carpentry, which gave her a strong understanding of how spaces are built and how materials work together. She later moved into sales and then visual merchandising, where she designed homeware displays and layouts within a retail environment. This role helped her develop a keen eye for design, proportion and achieving a cohesive overall aesthetic. This naturally led her into a bathroom design and sales role where she has now been working for over eight years, combining her practical knowledge with creative design solutions.

What do I need to get ready for my initial telephone call with the designer?

All we need from you to get started are 3 key pieces of information:

Full measurements of your space, including placement of doors and windows, plus the overall height of the room. If you have architect plans, that’s fine as long as the measurements are clearly annotated on them for us to work with.
A rough idea of your timescales – when do you want to complete your project?
Your budget – how much do you want to spend ideally?
Plus you can of course share any design inspiration or ideas that you already have!

Your designer will reach out for this information following your booking - the more time they have with this to prepare for your telephone call, the better.

Can I share my wishlist of products or design ideas in advance?

How long does it take to get a final design?

As long as we have what we need from you, your new bathroom design will be sent to you within two working days. If you’ve chosen The Big Picture and amends are needed, revised designs are turned around in a similar period, often even faster. To give you an idea of when to kick start your planning, you might want to allow 2-4 weeks to get to your final design and quote, but it all depends on any changes or alternative products to be identified or sourced. We’ll work at your pace!

Can I get a design for multiple bathrooms at the same time?

Yes of course! And we do offer a discounted rate for multiple bathroom designs to reduce your upfront costs (we get that larger house renovations are expensive and somewhat overwhelming!). Of course we'll need a bit more time to create more than one, but can prioritise based on your preference.

Please note: You’ll need to spend £1000 on each bathroom to be eligible for a refund on the The Big Picture design fee, for example with two bathrooms you would need to spend £2000 to get your fee refunded, and with three bathrooms you would need to spend £3000. If your total spend is over the threshold but not weighted at over £1000 per bathroom that is fine, it is calculated on total spend at Drench.

Can you work with my installer/architect/interior designer?

What's included in The Big Picture when it comes to tiles?

As you may know, we don't sell tiles at Drench (yet!) so there are some limits to what we can offer here.

Firstly, whilst we try to replicate any tile selections or general colour schemes you would like to use in your bathroom, due to limitations within our software it isn't always possible to replicate these totally accurately.

Secondly, because we don't sell tiles, we are unable to provide tile product advice, make any suggestions or help with tile placement/layouts, including tile quantity calculations. Your best bet here is to head to a specialist tile retailer!

Can you also answer technical questions about the products and/or plumbing etc?
