Quadrant Shower Enclosures

Quadrant shower enclosures are one of the most popular forms of shower cubicle we sell. They fit neatly into the corner of a room, and their curved front profile means they do not take up as much space as square or rectangular designs. That being said, the curved corner does not result in a loss of any practical space within - it feels just as roomy in a 900 x 900mm quadrant enclosure as it does within a 900 x 900mm square shower enclosure. They also often tend to have sliding doors (although you can also find hinged quadrant doors), meaning they do not take any extra space opening outwards in to the bathroom. Many of the quadrant showers we feature have nifty features such as quick-release door runners, meaning you can quickly and easily move the doors out of the way and have access to the bottom runner track, which on older models would be the typical spot where all of that dirt and grime builds up over the years.

Nowadays, you can also find curved corner shower doors in a great range of sizes to suit any bathroom. At the small end of the scale you'll spot sizes as small as 900 x 700 or 760mm, as well as the conventional 800 and 900mm sizes. At the other end of the scale, 'offset quadrant' sizes where one end is longer than the other (such as 1200 x 900mm) give you ample room for showering whilst still slotting neatly into many bathroom designs. New style frameless quadrant enclosures are also becoming more popular, foregoing the heavy framework of yesteryear and offering a simple, clean and understated look where the glass does most of the talking, and the supporting frame takes a back seat. Needless to say, there's lots to choose from, and we've carefully curated a range of the best of the best ready for you here.

This figure shows you how thick the glass in your mirror, shower enclosure or doors will be. Thicker glass will often be more robust, which helps it last longer.

Maximum Adjustment

Sometimes one or two walls in the space you are planning on installing a shower door or enclosure may be ‘out of true’ or not perfectly straight. The maximum adjustment measurement indicates the highest ‘give’ a shower door or enclosure has to achieve a perfect fit.

Minimum Adjustment

Sometimes one or two walls in the space you are planning on installing a shower door or enclosure may be ‘out of true’ or not perfectly straight. The minimum adjustment measurement indicates the lowest ‘give’ a shower door or enclosure has to achieve a perfect fit.
