Heavy-duty acrylic baths are our most popular bath type. In yesteryear, cast iron was a common material for baths, but they are expensive, cold to the touch, and very heavy. A reinforced acrylic bath has similar strength properties at a fraction of the cost (and weight!). Most are reinforced with layer upon layer of resin, fibreglass encapsulation and timber framework. We supply a wide range of heavy-duty baths from different brands that vary slightly in price and specification.
