Shower trays are an often overlooked part of a new bathroom. Gone are the days of clunky, deep, flimsy trays and instead we find all manner of shapes, sizes and materials. The most common type of tray is the low-level ABS stone resin, measuring about 40mm tall. Optional riser kits are generally available if you have a concrete floor - these allow you to raise the shower tray up slightly to allow for installation of the waste pipework.
If you've got a wooden floor in which to recess the waste and plumbing you might like to consider the new ultra-thin 25mm shower trays. These provide a near-level access, where the base of the tray is almost on the same level as the surrounding floor - great for easy access. In terms of sizes, you can find a suitable tray regardless of layout. From small curved quadrant trays through to large rectangular models, there is an enormous amount of flexibility to ensure you are able to make the most of your space.
We also stock a beautiful selection of slate and ceramic shower trays that offer something different from the masses of shiny white trays around.
