Pine is Officially the Scent of Christmas 2022
We've found the most popular Christmas scent by examining festive candles and air fresheners across Amazon, as well as looking at search volumes to find out which scents were ranked the highest across both categories. The maximum score for each category is 20, based on the number of products, number of reviews, reviews-per-product and average search volumes.
Pine came out on top as the most popular scent by scoring 12 out of 20 in the candle category and 15 out of 20 in the air freshener category, giving a total index score of 27.
