Exposed Valves

Exposed shower valves are a type of shower control where the all-important working parts are contained within the body of the valve and not concealed within the wall. This usually means that they are easier and faster to install, and are more suitable for walls where it is not possible to fit a concealed valve due to a lack of space. Exposed shower mixer valves can be thermostatically controlled, which means they regulate the temperature safely and effectively; or they can be manually controlled. The latter is a more cost-effective option, but if you have other people turning on taps or showers at the same time then the temperature can suddenly fluctuate - not really something you want in the morning; and not suitable if you have young children.
